About

Dawn is a parent of three Dysart graduates, with her youngest still attending Dysart Schools. For the last four years, she has proudly served as a Dysart Governing Board Member. She represents the communities of El Mirage, Surprise, Luke Air Force Base and Waddell. As a daughter of a Marine, she experienced a wide variety of public schools as a child. she understands what it is like to move from state to state and navigate a diverse cultural shift. Experience

Dawn, a parent of three Dysart graduates and currently with her youngest attending Dysart Schools, has dedicated the last four years to serving as a Dysart Governing Board Member. In this role, she represents the communities of El Mirage, Surprise, Luke Air Force Base, and Waddell. With a unique perspective as the daughter of a Marine, Dawn experienced various public schools during her childhood, gaining insight into the challenges of relocating between states and navigating cultural shifts. Her personal experiences have also provided her with a firsthand understanding of the disparities between poorly funded schools and well-funded schools.
