About

Councilmember William (Bill) Patena, elected in November 2012 and reelected in 2016 and 2020, is dedicated to fostering healthy neighborhoods in Peoria. Serving as the veteran liaison, he collaborates with the Veterans Memorial Board to honor and support the veteran community. With eighteen years as the Neighborhood Services Manager, he oversaw programs like Dial-a-Ride, Public Housing, Community Development Block Grants, and Neighborhood Pride. His extensive professional background includes roles in managing programs for individuals with disabilities and teaching special needs children. Married for 52 years, Councilmember Patena and his wife, Linda, have been Arizona residents for over 30 years, with more than 20 spent in Peoria.
