About

Denette Dunn serves as a councilmember for the City of Peoria, representing the Pine District since April 2019. In addition to her council role, she has been a member and Chair of the city’s Boards and Commissions Subcommittee and served as Vice Mayor in 2023. To address Pine District-specific issues, Councilmember Dunn established the Pine Citizens Advisory Committee, which has grown to over 100 participants. With an extensive private sector background, she managed the southwest area for Republic Services, overseeing $85 million in municipal contracts.
