About

Catherine L. Traywick, "Cathy," was born in Natrona Heights, Pennsylvania on June 29, 1962. She graduated from Highland High School in Pocatello, Idaho and attended the University of Idaho, Arizona State University, and Cochise College. She holds her Public Management Certification from Arizona State University. Ms. Traywick is a second term Treasurer, elected to the office in 2012; however, she had been a Deputy Treasurer for over 20 years. She was hired as a cashier in the Treasurer's Office in 1992, then worked in Bonds and Bankruptcies, Special Districts, and the Accountant's position for the Treasurer's Office. She was then promoted to Cash and Investment Manager in 2006. Ms. Traywick lives in Tombstone and is very active in her community. She currently serves on the board of Helldorado, Inc. and the Tombstone Senior Center. She also works with the Tombstone Lions Club and the American Legion Auxiliary Roy Four Post 24. She has also participated with the Tombstone Vigilantes, The Wild Bunch, and The Hell's Belles. Ms. Traywick is a member of the National Association of County Collectors, Treasurers and Finance Officers, the National Association of Counties, the Arizona County Treasurers Association and Past President to the Arizona Association of Counties.
