About
With a family history in Arizona spanning over 100 years, Patty Contreras originally hails from Somerton, a rural farm town in southwestern Arizona near Yuma. Having resided in the Phoenix valley for more than 40 years and specifically in Ahwatukee-Foothills for over 30 years, she has deep roots in the community. Patty and her wife are proud grandparents, with two of their grandchildren attending schools in the Kyrene School District. Having dedicated over 31 years of service to the City of Phoenix, Patty Contreras retired in October 2021. During her tenure, she worked diligently in the Parks and Recreation and Human Services Departments, providing valuable programs, activities, and resources for youth, teens, adults, and seniors. Now in her retirement, Patty continues her commitment to public service as an elected official. She seeks to contribute to policymaking that benefits not only the constituents of Legislative District 12 but all Arizonans as a whole. | Contact Information - Email: pcontreras@azleg.gov - Phone: 602-926-4057
